Just Girls
Who: My Space is a 12-week psychoeducational therapy group for girls, 6-8 years of age, who have experienced sexual abuse.
What: The small group format (4-5 participants) allows each child to have the space to express herself, while getting support, and the knowledge that she is not alone. Sessions will allow each girl to progressively be able to:
- Begin to heal from her abuse
- Understand her experience, how it affects her, and learn self- protection skills
- Learn how to identify, manage and express her thoughts and
feelings appropriately
- Feel more self-confident, have better relationships, and learn to
thrive beyond what has happened
When: My Space meets weekly on Tuesdays from 3:45p to 5pm, for 12 weeks beginning February 7, 2012.
Where: The office of Cheryll Putt, LMFT (group facilitator)

The group fee is $480 for the 12 weeks ($40 per session) and payments can be broken up if paid with credit card. Discount: Pay in full at first session and receive $5 off for each week. Insurance is not available for this group.
